Just as I do every year in the month of June, I have been taking part to latest Pitti uomo due to my partnership with several fashion brands among which there are Nohow and Messangerie.
The 2017 edition in Florence with its 30000 visitors has achieved a record number for the entrances.
The award called “The best collection for 2017” has been won by the English stylist Shania Matthews thanks to her womenswear creations “Children Should Be Seen and Not Heard”.
Italy on its side has got a honourable mention owing to Federico Cina’s menswear collections named Vacuum. Another special award has also been given to Max Anish Gowriah coming from Mauritius whose collection stands out for employing in a peculiar way waste fabrics recycled with which he directly creates the final clothes.
