70th Cannes Festival. When the red carpet meets celebrities

During the month of May, as I am used to every year, I crossed the border to enjoy my stay in the French Riviera, a place which I am particularly fond of and where I have been so many times since I was a kid.

In fact it was exactly in May that Côte d’Azur carpets become red hosting 70th Cannes Film Festival edition. This one was definitely a magic time when I found myself face to face with renowned actors all over the world; the spotlights pointing at the red carpet celebrities have therefore enlightened me too and have made me experience unforgettable moments.

I felt an incredible emotion that has been renewing one edition after other.Obviously, during this period, I was helped by clothes and accessories of the brands which are my partners, among these there are V2, TOUCHEYEWEAR and YOURBRAND.

Thus I have given my personal contribution to the glam and fashion being typical of the Festival atmosphere also this year.Certainly in the 2017 edition “the look” has had a leading role on the red carpet too.

That’s why I have seen several fabulous creations signed by the most prestigious international brands such as Armani, Versace, Chanel and Dior just on Cannes red carpet.Italy took part to the Festival with our well known actress Claudia Cardinale whose beautiful photograph was edited as officially poster for this edition, whereas Monica Bellucci has been the only sponsor of the event that has started the closing ceremony saying: “The identity of cinema has no sex, no flag and no border.” Moreover she has hoped for a copious participation of women in the cinema world.

As far as Cannes awards are concerned Joaquin Phoenix has received one prix as best actor due to his excellent performance in the film “You Were Never Really Here.” Instead Diana Kruger has received the award as best actress thanks to her acting in the film entitled “In the fade” by Fatih Akin. The special awards for 70th anniversary has been given to Nicole Kidman who took part to the kermesse through a video message: “Truly sorry not to be there, but that’s a beautiful way to come back.”

No doubt the real protagonist of this edition has been the movie “The square” which, after achieving a huge appreciation by the mass media has finally gained “La Palme D’or 2017”. Above all Italian cinema has been able to celebrate too: the well known actress Jasmin Trinca has enchanted the jury so that she has got the award called “Un Certain Regard” as best actress in the film “Fortunata” directed by Sergio Castellitto.
