The day of the great event was on 5th November 2016, what every girl belonging to upperclass of Turin was dreaming about not only of this town because many girls are came from other places of Italy and even from the United States, the Day of the so-called “Grand ballo della Venaria Reale, 20th edition of “The ball of the debutante girls.”
I have taken part to this event as an ambassador of Carlo Pignatelli Maison which has been creating beautiful clothes, specially designed for the occasion during the last 6 years. The 42 debutante girls were accompanied by the cadets coming from accademia navale di Livorno of Marina Militare in the touching setting of Galleria Grande della Reggia, a really fabulous context, also including a “Gala dinner.”
This ball has united charity and high society that together, also this year, have supported Telethon for its commitment in the fight against rare genetic diseases, thus allowing the fulfillment of remarkable achievements during several years.
The well known anchorman and writer Alessandro Cecchi Paone has welcomed the guess in an awesome evening to which different protagonist from cultural, artistic and government world have taken part. For instance it was possible to meet Alex Belli with his wife Katarina Ragnanova, Adriana Romero and her partner Pierpaolo Pretelli, as well as the singer Sara Galimberti. Among the Olympic athletes, I had the opportunity to get to know the swimmer Luisa Trombetti coming straight from the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
